Shri Radha Madhuri · Pad 15
kuṁvari lakhi, lājata sakhi! shṛiṅgāra
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
Oh sakhi! Looking at Kishorī Jī’s incomparable beauty, even the personified adornment feels embarrassed. The decoration of the strings of pearls on Her divine crown of gold is indescribable. Extremely captivating is the sight of the chunarī on Her head, the nose-ring and the besara embellished in Her nose, as well as Her eyes, which are naturally of the colour of collyrium. The redness of vermillion-mark on Her forehead, henna on Her hands and mihāvara on Her feet is absolutely beautiful. How befitting is the elegance of the jewelled karadhanī around Her waist, anklets adorning Her feet and the toe-rings encircling Her toes! Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī says that Kishorī Jī’s divine love-laden glance is absolutely ineffable by all similes, the sweetness of which is known even by Shyāmasundara only to a little extent.
