Shri Radha Madhuri · Pad 4
ika dekhī chhavi manabhāvanī
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
Seeing Shrī Kishorī Jī for the first time, Shyāmasundara says, “Today I have seen a heart-stealing beauty. Seeing that beauty, even My consort Mahālakshmī is put out of countenance. Her gait humiliates even swans. The sweetness of the embellishment of that beauty is incomparable. She is the one who rains forth the nectar of love. The way She was smiling sweetly and gently turning back again and again, was forcibly enslaving the heart. Her eyes were shattering the pride of even wagtail and partridge known for their beautiful eyes. Her glance was making the heart inebriated with love and bliss.” In the meanwhile, Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī teasingly said to Shyāmasundara, “All this is perfectly true, but when this beauty, Kishorī Jī, will do māna, She will also appear extremely frightful to You.”
