Shri Krishna Madhuri · Pad 31
lāla ke ghūṁghara vāre bāla
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
Shyāmasundara’s tresses are extremely curly. They are similar to the waves which were produced in the river Yamunā, when Balarāma Jī, in order to turn over the city of Hastināpura, had placed his plough in the river. Sometimes these curly hair sport on Shyāmasundara’s mouth and sometimes, on His forehead. Sometimes they drink the nectar of His lips and sometimes kiss His cheeks as well. In the words of Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī, “When these hair unrightfully fall into Shyāmasundara’s eyes, while flying, He removes them aside with His own lotus-hands.”
