dehu sakhi! tana mana prānana kānha
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
Oh sakhi! Surrender your body, heart and soul to Shyāmasundara. Purchase Shyāmasundara’s invaluable smile, which is full of divine bliss merely in exchange for your material body, mind and soul. Merely one glance at that enchanting smile will make you oblivious of your body, mind and soul. If you do not give the aforesaid offering to Shyāmasundara, it will be plundered by wife, husband, father, son and other worldly beings, for the mind which cannot remain inactive even for a moment is bound to get attached to worldly beings otherwise. On being robbed by them i.e. on being attached to them, you will undergo the torture of eighty-four lakh forms of life, repeatedly accepting them alone as your wife, husband, etc. Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī says with a challenge that Shyāmasundara alone is the life of everyone’s life; therefore He alone has a natural right on everyone’s body, mind and soul.
