dekhu sakhi! besara-chhavi chhavidāra
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
Oh sakhi! Look at the beauty of the beautiful besara! I don’t know what great austerities this besara has practised to be blessed with such an exalted place. It drinks the nectar of Shyāmasundara’s lips day and night. This extremely fortunate one becomes beside itself with bliss, kissing Shyāmasundara’s lips over and over again, swaying and bending with joy. If by chance pītāmbara gets entangled in this pampered besara, then Shyāmasundara disentangles it with His own hands. In the words of Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī, Shyāmasundara feels inebriated with joy when He looks at it in the mirror.”
