dekhu sakhi! pītāmbara phaharāna
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
Oh sakhi! Look at the flutter of Shyāmasundara’s pītāmbara. The waves produced in the fluttering pītāmbara look extremely lovely. While flying, this pītāmbara, feeling beside itself with joy, sometimes touches Shyāmasundara’s eyes, sometimes His mouth and sometimes His heart. Whenever some extremely fortunate maiden embraces Nandanandana (Shyāmasundara), it unhesitatingly comes in between. When any beloved of Shyāmasundara weeps in the state of māna, then this pītāmbara reaches even there and wipes her tears off. Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī says that blessed is this pītāmbara which remains wrapped around Beloved’s body always and everywhere, both in the state of sleep as well as the state of wakefulness.
