Shri Krishna Bal Leela Madhuri · Pad 92
lāla tuma nāhaka gāla bajāya
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
Teasing child Kṛishṇa, a gopī says, “Oh Kanhaiyā! You are bragging unnecessarily. Just think, who will throw his daughter into a well with his own hands by marrying her with You? And what are Your actions? Strutting and swaggering, You keep on fighting with Your friends, Shrīdāmā etc. You have made even maidens of Braja Your enemies by troubling them in the lanes of Braja. Everyone from a child to old in this hundred and sixty miles area of Braja is familiar with Your black deeds.” Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī also joins the gopī in teasing child Kṛishṇa, and says, “Oh sakhi! The most important thing is that even a foolish father does not give his daughter in marriage to someone, the identity of whose parents is not well known.”
