Shri Krishna Bal Leela Madhuri · Pad 84
māya le nija-lālahiṁ samujhāya
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
Complaining against Kanhaiyā to Mother Yashodā, a sakhī says, “Mother! Bring your son round. I had gone to bring water, fastening my door with a door-chain. In the meantime, this Naughty one entered my house opening the door without any hesitation at all. He ate butter to His fill and also felled the remainder on the floor. That day, I suddenly returned home quite soon filling my pitcher with the water of the Yamunā. Seeing Me, this little boy immediately concocted a story and said to me, “Oh sakhi! A cat has eaten up your butter.” In the words of Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī, the sakhī adds, “Oh Mother! Just observe, how many stories this little tot can invent!”
