Shri Krishna Bal Leela Madhuri · Pad 82
mātu! sunu kharī kharī aba bāta
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
A sakhī, complaining about Shyāmasundara to Mother Yashodā says, “Oh Mother Yashodā! Today, I have come to speak out the harsh truth. Is your son the only son and you, the only mother in the world? We also have sons, we too are mothers. Now live in this Nandagāoṁ all by yourself. All of us are going to some other place now. On the pretext of asking the alms of buttermilk, this darling son of yours asks us to give our body and mind, and smiles, addressing us as ‘Pyārī’. Destroying the eternal decorum of the world and the Vedas, He shows love to other men’s wives.” Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī says, “Oh sakhi! You don’t know that he or she alone can live in Braja, who keeps the religion pertaining to four principal castes and orders of life in abeyance.”
