parīṁ saba baira hamāre lāla
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
Irritated by hearing constant complaints about her son from the maidens of Braja, Mother Yashodā says, “It seems that all these maidens of Braja are pursuing my Kanhaiyā tenaciously. I ask, how can my little child reach upto your chhīkās which are hung up so high?” Gopīs reply, “Maiyā! Don’t know your child to be small; whenever needed, He immediately becomes tall.” Mother Yashodā further asks, “Well, I ask, how can this Kanhaiyā of mine reach the houses of all of you at one and the same time?” The sakhīs reply, “This child of yours assumes innumerable forms at one and the same time.” Even Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī tries to make innocent mother Yashodā understand by saying, “Maiyā! What these gopīs say is absolutely correct. He is the Supreme God, the lord of māyā; you do not know His tricks.”
