Shri Krishna Bal Leela Madhuri · Pad 28

arī more, lalanā soṁ kauna larī

Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj

English meaning

Shrī Kṛishṇa and Shrī Rādhikā started fighting with each other in the course of a game, at which Shrī Rādhā, holding Shrī Kṛishṇa’s hand, said to Him, ‘Give Your stake before You go.’ At this, Shrī Kṛishṇa went to His mother crying and complained. Mother Yashodā then, taking Shrī Kṛishṇa’s side, said angrily – “Who is the girl who has harassed my child? I sacrifice my all on the lotus-face of my innocent child.” Shrī Kṛishṇa said, “Maiyā! If you have any doubt about what I say, come with Me. I will show you that girl. Let’s go immediately, otherwise She will run away.” After reaching near the spot, Shrī Kṛishṇa pointing at Shrī Rādhā from a distance, said to Mother Yashodā, “Look at that fair-coloured girl, who is standing in the centre and acting as if She were very innocent, that same girl has hit Me.” Mother Yashodā, scolding Shrī Rādhā said, “Why Oh Young lady! Whose daughter are You and why did You catch hold of my child’s arm? My son has been sobbing since then and You are standing with a smile (as if nothing has happened)?” Kishorī Jī said, “Mother! You have given a partial judgement in favour of your child without even listening to Me. You should have listened to Me as well.” In the words of Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī, Kishorī Jī, feeling annoyed, says in Her mind to Shrī Kṛishṇa, ‘Let Me also get a chance to get even with You i.e., I, too, will falsely complain to My mother about You just as You have done.’
