Shri Krishna Bal Leela Madhuri · Pad 13
bali jāuṁ salone shyāma kī
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
The poet says, “I sacrifice myself on captivatingly beautiful, black-complexioned baby Kṛishṇa. I offer myself, heart and soul, on the swaying of His peacock-feather and the beautiful dangling of His curly locks. I also sacrifice myself on His shrieking with joy, the shining of His two milk-teeth, and His lovely crawling on all fours. I further sacrifice myself on the sparkling of His yellow jhaṁgulī and the swaying movement of His earrings. I also offer myself on the tinkling of the anklets around His little feet, and on the way the gopīs look at Him stealthily.” Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī says, “I also repeatedly sacrifice my ‘everything’ on the land of Braja, Mother Yashodā and the village of Gokula.”
