suno hari, adhama-udhārana hāra
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
Oh Shyāmasundara, the rescuer of the ignoble! Listen to one prayer of even ours. Oh Lord! All Your servants are rasika and reservoir of all virtues. But meritorious people are not adorned in a court unless the court also has a worthless fellow. Just as, if there had not been material sorrow in the world, no one would have cared for You; likewise if Your court is devoid of fellows like me who are ocean of faults, how will Your devotees, replete with all good qualities, be honoured? Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī says, Oh Shyāmasundara! The whole world misunderstands me to be Your devotee. Therefore, You, too, look at me as Your own, at least for once.
