sunu vanshīvāre sāṁvare
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
Oh captivating player of the flute, Shyāmasundara! Please lend an ear to even our prayer. I am extremely exhausted after having roamed in vain through eighty-four lakh forms of life - animate and inanimate. I have been blessed with the rarest human body denied even to gods, and thus, with a golden chance to attain my spiritual goal; yet this purblind mind of mine neither loves You nor chants Your names. Just as the thirst of a deer is impossible to be quenched by mirage; likewise, the senses, mind, etc. can never be satisfied through material objects. Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī beseechingly says, “Oh Ocean of grace! Accepting ‘Kripālu’ as Your own now, bless him with eternal residence in Nandagrāma.”
