suno hari dīnana ke rakhavāra
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
Oh friend of the destitute, Shyāmasundara! I am going to say something; listen attentively. Among eighty-four lakh doors of movable and immovable forms – up to where Your world is, which door is there where, taking birth, I haven’t begged for the alms of my own happiness innumerable times? Going in every cosmic egg (Brahmāṇḍa), to whom did I not narrate my tale of woe? Still, Oh Lord! You don’t regard me as humble. Why? According to what law do I fail to deserve this title? If You say that I did not approach Your door, the answer is, Your door could not be reached even by countless gyānīs who exhaustively searched for it day and night. Defeated, they declared You to be Imperceptible, Incomprehensible etc. Then, how can I, under the illusion of māyā, search Your door? If You further say that I can reach Your door through means of devotion etc., then, says Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī, what will happen to that law of Yours which says that Your heart melts for destitute souls without their practising any means whatsoever? Therefore, ponder seriously over what I have said before. I am waiting for Your answer.
