shyāma tuma kaise ho ghanashyāma?

Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj

English meaning

Oh Shyāmasundara! You have falsely named Yourself Ghanashyāma. One type of Ghanashyāma (black cloud) is looked at by farmers intently but it does not accomplish anything for anyone of them because, even though it is full of water, it does not rain, leaving the farmers yearning for water. The other type of Ghanashyāma is that, which makes farmers happy by raining water. Oh Shyāmasundara! Everybody knows that You are the crest-jewel of rasikas. Why then are You behaving as a niggard. Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī says, “Shower the rain of divine love-nectar which we can drink unceasingly.”
