shyāma tuma kaise dīnadayāla
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
Oh Shyāmasundara! You have falsely entitled Yourself as Dīnadayāla, i.e. Merciful towards the low and humble. Everyone glorifies You as being causelessly merciful and all-sustaining, but I have been calling You for so long and yet You do not listen. Is it so that You have become a niggard now? You gratified Kubjā in return for her applying only a little sandalwood-paste on Your forehead. Not only Kubjā, innumerable souls were thus blessed with Your Love. Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī says, “Oh Causelessly Merciful! Why have You forsaken only me, then?”
