manamohana soṁ mana lāga re
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
Oh sakhi! My mind has now become attached to the stealer of hearts, Shyāmasundara. The three modes of māyā - sattva, raja and tama, the three types of action – sañchita, prārabdha and kṛiyamāṇa, the three types of pain - daihika (intrinsic), daivika (superhuman) and bhautika (extrinsic), have fled from the temple of my mind all by themselves. Discarding the happiness of seven heavens and four types of liberation, the love of Shyāmasundara has occupied my heart. Now, I always remain intoxicated with this love, meditating on Him and singing the glory of only His names, beautiful form, attributes etc. Sometimes, I dance and sometimes, sing. I harbour neither love nor hatred towards anyone. Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī teasingly says, “Oh sakhi! All this is fine but it has effected one bad result. And that is, your loyalty towards your husband has been tainted.”
