Dainya Madhuri · Pad 72
bāra ika herahu hamarihuṁ ora
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
Oh Shyāmasundara! Turn Your gaze towards me also at least for once. This unworthy son of Yours is beseeching You abjectly sitting on Your door. Shower some grace on me too. I studied Vedas and Purāṇas thoroughly; still this strongly obstinate mind of mine refuses to listen to me. Even after my trying to make it understand day and night, it continues to relish material sensual pleasures. You are called the ‘Stealer of heart’ by saints, why then don’t You steal my heart as well? Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī imploringly says, “Bless me too with a glimpse of Your beautiful form. What will You lose by doing so?”
