Dainya Madhuri · Pad 71

bāta ika suno kānha! dai kāna

Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj

English meaning

Oh Shyāmasundara! I want to say something, please listen with open ears. I admit that, deluded by Your māyā since time immemorial, I did not surrender myself to You due to arrogance. But I ask, has there ever been someone who has known You without Your grace? And if one does not believe in You without knowing You, nothing is surprising in this. Further, if one does not believe in You, it is but natural that he will be attached to the worldly objects, following the dictates of his mind. Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī says, “Oh Lord! Please do not mind our saying; we are very ignorant. Therefore, till the time You bless us with Your causeless mercy, we will not even accept our faults and will always find faults with You.”
