Dainya Madhuri · Pad 60
nātha! hauṁ, tumahiṁ sochi pachhitāta
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
Oh Lord! I don’t have any regrets about myself. I am worried only for You. If the son of such a father, who is called omniscient, omnipresent and omnipotent, begs for alms at eighty-four lakh doors, this is a disgrace to the father himself. Even in the world, which newborn baby recognizes its parents from whom it acquires its body? Still, parents care for it to the best of their ability. As far as You are concerned, You are unknowable even by the greatest men of wisdom (gyānīs), how can we ignorant people know You then? Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī says, ‘Oh Lord! Now bestow Your grace on Your son, otherwise the honour of the father himself will be wrecked.’
