nātha! aba lāja tihārī jāta
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
Oh Shyāmasundara! Your honour is at stake now. I kept on pleasing the world day and night by falsely taking Your name. The innocent world regards me as Your great devotee. If You don’t accept me as Your own, the honour of Your own names – ‘saviour of sinners’ (Patita-pāvana), patron of the poor (Dīnabandhu) etc. will be destroyed. Why should I worry? You will mar Your own reputation by showing Your thigh Yourself. Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī adds that I do not want justice for my actions; I want mercy of the merciful Lord.
