nātha! aba bhaṭakata thaki gaye pāma
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
Oh Shyāmasundara! My feet are tired after roaming in vain for such a long time. I have not had even momentary rest in the process of being born again and again in eighty-four lakh types of bodies. I failed to detach myself from countless wives and husbands in numberless lives even after being insulted by them innumerable times. The mind refuses to abandon its obstinacy even after reading, listening, knowing and accepting teachings about God. Although we sing only Your līlās and attributes and chant only Your names with our tongue, says Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī, ‘still, oh merciful Shyāmasundara! The attachment of the senses to material objects cannot be destroyed without Your grace.’
