Dainya Madhuri · Pad 49
dīna ke, tuma hī dīnānātha
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
Oh Patron of the poor! You are the one and only hope for a destitute. Oh Shyāmasundara! Human beings, heavenly singers, and heavenly gods – none stands by an incapable soul. In the world, so long as one remains in the possession of the power of body, wealth and people, he is praised by all, but as soon as he ceases to be so, he is left even by wife and husband who claimed to love him more than their life, thus proving themselves to be awfully selfish. Again, what is the use of holding the hand of these material beggars for support because everyone is an orphan without attaining You? Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī says, “Oh Shyāmasundara! Now gratify ‘Kripālu’ considering him Your own and place Your hand on his head forever.”
