Dainya Madhuri · Pad 38
kauna hari! hamaro tumharo nāta?
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
A devotee is complaining to his Lord, “Oh Shyāmasundara! How can I assume that there is any relationship between You and me, for You are sleeping soundly in Your divine abode, Goloka, whereas I am crying day and night for You. I pass each and every moment desperately longing for Your union, yet You remain indifferent to my cries. The more I try to pacify my stubborn eyes, the more restless they become for Your vision. What is more to say? Every pore of my body ceaselessly demands from me nothing but sweet Shyāmasundara.” Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī says, “I fell in love with You thinking You to be merciful, but now, seeing Your heartlessness, I am repenting for the same in my heart.”
