jāni lai hari tumharī saba pola
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
Oh Shyāmasundara! All Your secrets are revealed to me now. I am proclaiming them openly; listen with open ears. That You don’t need anything from anybody has been stated even by the Vedas; but You are always hungry for the extremely abusive, bitter words used by maidens of Braja to revile You. Even after being insulted by those uncivilized maidens, You go to their houses like one sold without a price. Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī says that I have weighed everything very well and have reached the conclusion that love alone is the essence of everything. In other words, the secret behind the above-mentioned behaviour of Yours is actually the heart-felt deep love of the maidens of Braja. It is only that love which I want as alms from You.
