Dainya Madhuri · Pad 40
tumahi mama, gati giridhara gopāla
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
Oh Shyāmasundara! You alone are my ‘everything’. In the world, some people perform greatest sacrifices through the means of wealth etc.; some practise severe austerities in forests, renouncing even food and water; some others practise eight types of yoga; there are also some who go through arduous rituals. But Oh Lord! I am extremely lazy. I have heard that You treat fallen souls as Your own. Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī says, therefore, abandoning all other hopes and faiths, I worship Shyāmā-Shyāma only.
