kishorī morī, bigarī dehu banāya

Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj

English meaning

Oh Kishorī Rādhe! Please put an end to my miserable plight. Oh mother! Vedas and Purāṇas repeatedly sing Your praises, glorifying You as the possessor of an extremely tender and merciful heart. To whom else can I relate my woeful tale? Even if I say, who else besides You has the power to eliminate my misery? The reality about me is known to You very well that even after committing innumerable sins unceasingly, I never feel even the least satiated with them. This deceitful, wicked, bad son of Yours is being kicked mercilessly at the doors of eighty-four lakh existences. Shrī Rādhe! I don’t have even an iota of the five sentiments related to the nine types of devotion (Navadhā Bhaktī), yet I act as if I am the crest-jewel of rasikas merely to earn worldly praise. Oh Kishorī Jī! You are the reservoir of causeless mercy and love, therefore, look at me with the benevolent eyes of a mother and accept me as Your own forever. Falling at Your lotus-feet, I imploringly beseech You to make me meet beloved Shyāmsundara at least for once. It will be disgraceful to You if, even after being called Your son, I go to some other door. Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī says, “You must fulfil this childish insistence of mine, otherwise because of this son of Yours, Your reputation of being causelessly merciful will be blemished.”
