kānha! ṭuka suna lo kari ke kāna
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
Oh Shyāmasundara! Pay at least a little attention to my prayer. I have become disappointed after having called You continuously for a long time, yet You do not listen. Have You lost Your ears? You are known as ‘Hari’ by all, why then do You not destroy my ignorance? You are called ‘Gopāla’ by everyone, why, then, do You not protect my hungry senses nourishing them with Your divine bliss? Why do they run towards material objects? You are entitled as ‘Patita-pāvana’ by saints. They also state that You respect sinners. Why then, oh merciful Shyāmasundara!, asks Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī with great humbleness, do You not accept this extremely sinful Kripālu as Your servant?
