Dainya Madhuri · Pad 24
kahaṁ lauṁ, kahiye hari upakāra
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
Oh Shyāmasundara! To what extent can I count the number of Your benefactions? Who in the world can care for me the way You cared and brought me up in the mother’s womb for ten months? Again, no sooner was I born than the mother’s breasts automatically started producing milk. Blessed are, Oh Creator, Your unique actions! Again, as soon as mother’s milk was finished, milk teeth came all by themselves and You also arranged for food. Moreover, You also kept very carefully the record of my every action of every moment. Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī says that not only this, You gave us the fruit of our past actions without our asking for it. But I am so mean and vile that I still do not feel grateful to You.
