Dainya Madhuri · Pad 17
āju hari daihauṁ jo tohiṁ bhāya
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
Oh Shyāmasundara! Today, I have come to give You what You cherish most. Poison applied on Pūtanā’s nipples is very dear to You. I am gladly giving You the poison of sensual objects residing at the head of the five senses of knowledge. Come and drink it. You delight a lot in killing demon Agha; You had made Your cowherd friends happy by killing him. I, too, have innumerable Aghas (sins). Make me, the individual soul, who is Your friend according to the Veda, happy by killing them. Again, You extremely rejoice in killing demon Baka. I am also possessed with countless forms of vanity like Baka, due to which we meditate on You deceitfully. Gratify me by killing them. You also enjoy a lot drinking forest fire; I possess not only one but three fires – intrinsic, superhuman and extrinsic (daihika, daivika, bhautika). Please come and drink them. Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī says, “Just as after killing the above-mentioned demons, You had given the supreme bliss of mahārāsa to the souls in Braja, in the same way, make even me drink the ever new divine bliss by perfectly uprooting the vices in my heart.
