socha mana! shyāma milana kī bāta
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
Oh mind! Engage yourself in the thoughts of sweet encounter with beloved Shyāmasundara at least now. This world which is like a labyrinth will provide you with nothing but fruitless labour consequently. Why do you trust it? Even Rāvana who had Yamarāja, the god of death, among his servants had to see his end. You love your wife, son, husband, father, etc., who are extremely selfish, but, says Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī, you do not care to love Shyāmasundara, who is declared both by the world and the Vedas as causelessly merciful. What a great stupidity of yours this is!
