suno hari! kharī kharī aba bāta
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
Oh Lord! Today I am going to make You listen to some bitter facts about Yourself. As is very well known in the world and declared by the Vedas, I have been under the control of māyā since time immemorial. But so far as You are concerned, You are the Lord of māyā, and still You are afraid of it. That You are afraid of it, is proved by the fact that this māyā, which is like Your maid-servant is torturing Your sons – the individual souls in various ways, and You, being called (known as) causelessly merciful are watching the game, unable to interfere. The Vedic declaration, ‘He who is blessed with God’s grace alone can attain Him’, is proving false. Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī says, “We do not ask for the five kinds of liberation. Your love is the one and only thing which we beg for.”
