Siddhanta Madhuri · Pad 114
suna lākha ṭakā kī bāta re
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
Oh mind! Listen to an invaluably important thing. That your son, father, brother, etc. regard you as your own, is all a deception because behind their doing so, is nothing but the desire to fulfil their own selfish interests. Oh mind! When these people do not even realize as to where their own real well-being lies, and consequently continue to wander in material objects, how then can they ever do anything for your good? Why do you have faith in them? Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī says, “Oh mind! Breaking your relation with all of them now, establish relationship with Shyāmasundara alone i.e. realize only Him as your own.”
