raina dina jhagarata nainana prāna
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
The eyes and the soul fight with each other day and night in separation from Shyāmasundara. The soul says, ‘I want to go right now to see Shyāmasundara’. The eyes state through gestures, ‘Listen to me and wait for Shyāmasundara for one more moment. After letting us see Him once, you can go. You should not forget the day when we alone had first made you meet Shyāmasundara.’ Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī yearningly says, “Oh my eyes! When will that moment of Shyāmasundara’s arrival come? To me, even a moment of Shyāmasundara’s separation seems to be a kalpa.”
