Siddhanta Madhuri · Pad 85
yehi jaga mṛigajala jyoṁ jāna re
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
Oh mind! Know this world to be a mirage. Just as a deer runs cravingly thinking the shining flying particles of sand in a desert land to be water, but his thirst, instead of being quenched, keeps on getting more intense; likewise, you too want to attain supreme happiness through the objects of the five senses. This is a blunder of yours. Even Indra, the king of gods, could not satisfy his senses by giving them their respective desired objects. Then, what power do you possess? Therefore, accept my advice even now. Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī says that practise ceaseless devotion to Shyāmasundara.
