Siddhanta Madhuri · Pad 84

yehi jaga kī āshā chhod̤a re!

Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj

English meaning

Oh mind! Abandon all expectations from this world. There are crores of so-called relatives in this world viz. mother, father, sister, son, wife, etc. who are deceiving you by their love-coated selfish behaviour. Break the tie of kinship with them. Even after being provided with the objects of senses, desires are continuing to be multiplied every moment. Therefore, break the pot of senses i.e. stop making desires. Turn your face away from the temptation of the seven heavens and five kinds of liberation. Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī says, “Oh mind! Establish sincere relationship only with Shyāmasundara who is supremely affectionate.”
