Siddhanta Madhuri · Pad 78
mūd̤ha mana! gūd̤ha tatva yaha jāna
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
Oh foolish mind! Comprehend this innermost secret. There are three eternal entities namely, God, soul and māyā. Among these, māyā is an insentient power of divine God and soul, described as part of God in the Vedas, is His eternal servant. Instead of regarding soul as soul, you are considering body as soul; this alone is your beginning-less ignorance. One who comes to know this philosophical fact also believes in this to the same extent – this is the only measurement of ascertaining how knowledgeable he is. Again, one also starts loving Shyāmasundara’s lotus-feet automatically in the same extent in which he believes in the aforementioned fact. Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī says that Oh mind! Abandon acting according to your whims now and become attached to Manamohana by meditating on His divine form.
