milata nahiṁ nara tanu bārambāra

Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj

English meaning

The human body will not be given frequently. The merciful Lord rarely bestows upon the soul the human frame after it’s wandering in eighty-four lakh forms of life. Even before blessing it with a human body, God hangs the soul upside down in the womb with even its mouth fastened, to make it realize the true nature of the world. When the suffering in the womb becomes unbearable for it, God gives it knowledge and the soul makes a vow, ‘Please get me out of this painful womb, I promise that I will worship You and You alone.’ One, who after being born, forgets his vow undergoes the same pitiable condition even in the present life as was in the womb. Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī says that this human body is rare even to heavenly gods, therefore, be on guard and engage yourself in the sweet remembrance of Shyāmasundara.
