bhajo re mana! nishidina nandakishora
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
Oh mind! Practise devotion to Shyāmasundara unceasingly. You assume that it is you who are enjoying worldly objects but the truth is that worldly objects are enjoying you instead. You want to destroy the vices - lust etc. - by feeding them with desired objects but by doing so, they only get multiplied just like the fire fed with purified butter. Experiencing this truth, you have spent innumerable lives, yet you do not open your eyes. Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī says, “Still there is time. You accept what I say and start loving Shyāmasundara. The fire of your desires can extinguish only with the water of His love.”
