nātha! mama tumahī soṁ saba nāta
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
Oh Shyāmasundara! My relationship is with You alone. Until now, I trusted wife-husband, mother-father, son and other relatives, but now I have realized that the duration of these relations is correspondent to the duration of the physical body made with five gross elements – ether, air, fire, water and earth. Even a great fool speaks, ‘I am not the body, this body is mine’, then how can they, who are related with my body, be related with me, the soul? The subject of the physical body, a product of māyā, is the things of the material world. This is a fact of everyone’s experience. But as far as I am concerned, I am the eternal fraction of God, as has been determined by the Vedas etc. Therefore, I have now known, says Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī, that my relationships are only with Shyāmasundara.
