tori diya tṛiṇa sama jaga ko nāta

Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj

English meaning

Oh sakhi! I have thrown aside all worldly relationships breaking them like a blade of grass. Showering their grace on me, rasikas have told me, ‘You are not body; you are soul, a part of Shyāmasundara. Your beloved and everything is Shyāmasundara alone.’ As the parental home loses its attraction for a married woman, my physical relatives - mother, father, husband etc., do not allure me even in a dream now. (A little attachment still continues to exist as far as the things of the parental home are concerned, because they sometimes accomplish the self-interest of the body, but the interest of the soul, the attainment of Supreme happiness, can never be fulfilled even in the least in the material world up to the realm of Brahmā.) Now I like only my divine in-laws’ home where my beloved Shyāmasundara resides and feel allured only towards the talks about His names, attributes, līlās, abode and His people (saints). I am constantly engulfed in the anxiety, ‘when will I meet my Beloved, the treasure of my life?’ Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī says that the moment an individual soul has complete faith in what has been said above, it meets beloved Shyāmasundara in person. It does not require any spiritual practice for meeting the divine Beloved. Spiritual practice is merely to strengthen the afore-mentioned faith.
