jauharī banyo sakala sansāra

Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj

English meaning

The whole world thinks itself to be a diamond appraiser in testing the diamond in the form of a saint with its trifle intellect. Just like a piece of salt that tries to swim across the boundless ocean with Mt. Himalayas on its head, a worldly ignorant being challenges to know the inner secrets of the saints who are beyond the reach of the greatest of intellects. Consequently, being unable to understand them, he commits the greatest offence, nāmāparādha in the form of criticising the saints, which cannot be atoned for even by crores of means. If an individual soul challenges to recognise a saint on the strength of his material intellect, then it should be understood that his downfall is sure. Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī says that without being blessed with the grace of saints, no one can understand them on the strength of his limited intellect.
