tajo re mana! una santana ko saṅga
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
A devotee alerts his mind against the pseudo-saints – “Oh my mind! Never associate yourself with those impostors in the guise of saints, whose sole aim is to please and impress worldly people by dyeing their clothes in various saintly colours. Although these frauds talk like the greatest rasika saints of Braja – the saints who are constantly inebriated with the divine love of Bhagwan Kṛishṇa – yet what they themselves remain intoxicated with is not divine love but the wine of worldly pleasures. In order to fulfil their material ends they make thousands of undeserving disciples by injecting a few words in their ears and thus, acting like their lords they deceive innocent people. Although they call themselves saints, these impostors, mounting the horse of egotism, abuse the real saints because, the teachings of those real saints hinder their business of gaining wealth and fame from the worldly people.” Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī, advising the worldly people, says, - “Live in the forests like aborigines if you have to, but do not even look at the face of these impostors (pseudo-saints).”
