chalī hauṁ dulahini bani sasurāra
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
I am going to my divine in-laws’ home. My Supreme well-wishing priest in the form of a saint has got me married with Shyāmasundara. Now I have renounced the four much-cherished goals - religion (dharma), wealth (artha), pleasure (kāma) and liberation (moksha), realizing them to be futile like the game of dolls. While going to my in-laws’ home, I am accompanied with four palanquin-bearers, namely, mind, intellect, consciousness and ego. Till now, I had been unmarried because of not knowing my husband, but from today I have become married for endless time. Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī says, “My in-laws’ home is there, where māyā, death, etc. can never have an entrance.”
