chapala chita! kata ita uta bhaṭakāta?
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
Oh fickle mind! Why are you wandering aimlessly from hither to thither? You put on innumerable bodies like that of a dog, a pig, an insect, a fly, etc. You made innumerable wives, husbands, sons, etc., and are still continuing to do the same. But you fail to think where the Supreme bliss you want is. Now listen! It is irrefutably proved by the Vedas and Purāṇas that the Supreme felicity can be attained only after surrendering oneself to the lotus-feet of Nandanandana. Therefore, do as they say. Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī says that when you surrender yourself to Him, He will make you blissful for endless time and thus, your beginning-less wrong will be set right.
