Siddhanta Madhuri · Pad 22
are mana! suna upanishada vichāra
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
Oh mind! Listen to the gist of the Upanishads. No parents love their son for their son’s happiness even in their dreams. In the same way, no son ever behaves with his parents for his parents’ happiness. No wife loves her husband for her husband’s happiness; such is the statement of the Vedas. Similarly, no husband does anything for his wife for his wife’s happiness. Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī says, “All people establish various relationships with others always for their own happiness.”
