Siddhanta Madhuri · Pad 20
are mana! yaha sansāra asāra
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
Oh mind! There is no substance in this world. All worldly relations viz. son, wife, friends etc. establish and maintain their relationship only for fulfilling some selfish end of theirs. You understand that your son, husband, sister, wife etc. love you. The same is the opinion of these people about you, i.e. they understand that you love them. Thus, there is deception on both the sides. But you know at least this much that you behave with them deceitfully only for some selfish reason. Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī asks, “Why then do you not understand that even their behaviour towards you, like yours towards them, is deceitful?”
