are mana! yaha aiso jaga jāna

Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj

English meaning

Oh mind! This world is such that no one can escape from its trap. Sage Vishwāmitra was on such a great height of austerity that he used to eat nothing but air to maintain his body, but even he was captivated by the amorous glances of the heavenly nymph, Menakā. That same Vishwāmitra was once sitting behind Sage Vashishṭha’s hut with an unsheathed sword to kill him. Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī says that when lust, anger etc. of even such great sages are so strong, then what to speak of ordinary people. Therefore, Oh mind! Go in the shelter of Bhagwan Kṛishṇa.
