Siddhanta Madhuri · Pad 13
are mana! tū nija swāratha sādha
Original pad by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj
English meaning
Oh mind! Accomplish your end. Rest not for a moment until your real goal is reached. Apply all your might only in the practice of achieving your actual self-interest. Oh foolish mind! Don’t even imagine that you can do anything for others till your own interest is fulfilled; therefore instead of wasting your time in so-called munificence, try your hardest towards the attainment of your own aim. He alone is selfish in the real sense of the term who worships the beloved of Shrī Rādhā, Shrī Kṛishṇa, continuously. Jagadguru Shrī Kripālu Jī says that accepting the afore-said advice, love Shyāmasundara and killing the Bālī of material desires with the arrow of love like Bhagwan Rāma, be immersed in the bliss of divine objects forever.
